Spiritual Growth Techniques
There are many practices to cultivate spiritual growth: meditation, prayer, chanting, spending quiet time in nature, and yoga are just a few. Many years ago Patricia began a meditation practice "just to reduce stress." At the time, having been disillusioned by traditional religion, her focus was on being of service to others. She considered herself an agnostic, not knowing if there was a God or not. But after meditating for a period of time, she realized that in meditation she was experiencing the love, peace, and sense of connection with the Universe (or Spirit, or God- whatever you call Infinite Intelligence) she had always longed for. For both Patricia and Rick, the practice of meditation is very important. They encourage you to try meditation and other spiritual growth techniques.
